The NIKE, Inc. Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day.
Bachelor's degree in business management preferred.Minimum of 5 years operation management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of automated distribution systems.Experience with budget management and accountability.Experience with 3PL operations and relationshipExperience with a Reverse Logistics Business ModelStrong project management skills in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with Excel, Word, SAP, DCMS and Kronos would be a plus.Strong analytical and innovative skills for strategic planning, sound decision-making, and problem solving and ability to work well under tight business driven deadlines. Outstanding leadership qualities.Ability to handle confidential matters in a professional manner. Preferred experience in Lean environment.Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills, ability to lead other and influence at various levels of the organization.Proven track record of understanding and fostering a diverse workforce. Detail oriented.Ability to embrace and promote other ideas. Ability to motivate and stay focused.Ability to work effectively on a team. Ability to work overtime with little or no advance notice, staying over or coming in for meeting, ability to access all areas of the warehouse, including second and third levels.Visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision.Auditory ability to receive verbal communication.Preferred experience in Lean Environment
