Gartner is looking for a well-rounded VP who can provide program leadership for the CX Platforms team. The candidate will be responsible for program management of all business initiatives needed to run Gartner customer facing platforms. The candidate will work cross functionally with Customer Research, Product Management, Strategy/Ops, UX and Engineering teams to help accelerate business outcomes. The candidate will build and lead the Program Management and Operations teams in the US and India.

Job description:

  • Partner with leadership to help develop and fortify a healthy product development culture as we grow, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and experimentation

  • Continually manage roadmaps, refine our planning and execution processes, and measure their effectiveness to ensure they are driving maximum impact

  • Promote processes, policies, and best practices through clear communications that improve adoption

  • Manage, coach, and mentor associates; build and develop a cohesive team to lead a program management and Ops function for the CX Platforms team

  • Day-to-day operational responsibilities supporting CX Platforms team and translating priorities into operational models to deliver on business outcomes

  • Responsible for coordination at SVP/GVP levels including information flow, processes, and identifying strategic gaps to ensure smooth execution of Gartner’s priorities.

  • Develop strategic presentations and help support internal and external communications and provide oversight of management performance routines, working across business lines.

Essential must-have skills 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Operations or equivalent; MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience in digital product development organization

  • Experience managing, communicating and leading change in a complex, high-growth environment

  • Stellar work ethic and history of being a self-starter. Strong ownership mentality with exceptional resourcefulness and drive for results

  • Experience running a high performing group, and with associated responsibilities like roadmap planning, budgeting, career development, culture

  • Expertise operating against OKRs or KPIs to drive results preferred - working with teams to move from objective to concept to completion, and to express business impact using precise metrics

  • Demonstrated track record as a strong collaborator who seeks to understand cross-functional viewpoints and individual business unit goals

  • Team player who fosters a sense of urgency and demonstrates exceptional organizational skills

  • A commitment to continually improving and modernizing processes and operations

  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Excellent time management / organizational and negotiation skills

  • Ability to go deep into the details as warranted. Both a planner and a "doer”
